Today, Sunday, the Somali Academy of Digital Media organized a workshop on novel writing, presented by the Eritrean publisher and novelist Haji Jaber. About twenty people interested in writing the novel participated in the workshop. The workshop lasted for about three hours and included practical exercises and discussions to develop the participants’ skills in writing novels. Participants were encouraged to enhance their writing skills through the experience of the novelist Jaber, and they benefited from his advice and expertise in this field.
Haji Jaber is an Eritrean novelist and journalist. He has four novels published so far, including the novel “Samarawit”, which won the Sharjah Prize for Arab Creativity in 2012, and the novel “Black Foam”, which won the Katara Prize for Arabic Fiction in its fifth session in the category of novels published in 2019. Some of his works have been translated into languages. English, Italian, and others.
