Finally, the participants received certificates, while the instructor requested them to follow the teachings and apply the skills they acquired from the workshop.

SODMA Academy held a workshop on communication and professionalism for about 30 young people from different Districts of the Banadir Region today. The participants learned many vital skills and gained practical tips.

The workshop focused on employability and marketing personal skills, writing emails professionally, and how to open accounts on and benefit from professional social networks such as LinkedIn.

The management of the SODMA Academy, giving the workshop’s opening remarks, encouraged the youth to learn critical skills which can help them get employed and confirmed that SODMA Academy always stands by the Somali youth who value education, especially employability skills and languages.
